At the core of her work is the determination to influence youth and young adult spaces by challenging the narratives of hopeless, implicit apathy brought about the social issues that weigh on the subconscious. My writings and advocacy lies in the power of educating and going beyond the grain to offer transformative insight to inspire a new wave of thinking. Â
While we may be outliers to the rest of the world, aggravated by the effects of neocolonialism on our native lands, we hold the power to reframe the frame from which the world looks on us.

As a journalist, I thrive to bring Africa and its people at the center of the conversation. Much of the art, culture, and history of African origin is lost to the narratives of "savior complex" where the voices of black people appear silent and least salient to the global context.Â
As an organisation, I aim to showcase original, true and unfiltered stories that speak to the heart of its people. Andréas Deolinda (Pty) Ltd, is led by myself, Andréas, a writer, poet, and passionate educator.
Through my writing I aim to hold space to promote learning and community engagement.
